Sure, thinking of only 2 weeks left and then, the internship program is completed brings excitement. Well, the 13th week here, we joined a study trip with our Supervisor, Mr. Sofian Abdul Rahim and his students. We're going to Kundasang to visit the Borneo Mushroom,specialize in many species of mushrooms production and supplying it to interested farmers.
That's about 1 and a half kilometre up in the sky. You can pretty much feel the chill even in the sunny weather at 11 am. Normally, I would be drenched in sweats at this time outdoor elsewhere.
These are the mushroom houses where they grow various kind of mushy. And most of these mushy needs to be grown among the clouds because it needs an optimum temperature and moisture to grow.
Some of the activities we did during our visit here is having a Q&A session with the staffs here at Borneo Mushroom. We also had the chance to observe the whole process to produce the mushrooms from scratch.
