Rise and shine, it's the second day of our journey. Took off early morning through the high roads to Kundasang and Ranau. Can feel the air pressure hurting your ears? That's because we're at the feet of the Kinabalu mountain. Yeah~
Look at the road, it's full of mist. Maybe we're inside of clouds now. And the air is chillin'.
The hills are pretty steep too. Fortunately, we have an experienced driver, Mr. Lawrence.
After some brunch at Ranau to stock up some energy, we head off to Poring Hot Spring. So many people there that day. Of course there are, it's holiday.
Photo at the signboard is a must to proof we were here. Hehe~
This is the source of the hot spring. It's really hot. Miss Valarie dip her hands in the water and she was then rushed to the nearest hospital. Lol. Just kidding.
After about twenty minutes walk into the woods, we found this waterfall. The Kipungit waterfall.
There's another waterfall deeper in the woods but we decided not to continue our journey there as time doesn't let us. So, after we had enough water fun at the waterfall, we left for the next destination.
Here we are, at the feet of Kinabalu Mountain. There's a lost cowboy there, looking at the map, searching for the way out back to the desert.
These are my friends. At the Kinabalu Park Complex. This place is so cold even at 2 pm.
There's supposed to be a big building at the background of this photo but you can't see it, can you? That's because of the thick cool mist. Off to the next stop.
Pekan Nabalu. We stop for a while here. Checking out the market, lots of souvenirs. And it's raining, but we don't look like we're wet, right? Because the rain takes the form of the mist.
Raining and Mr. Faiq doesn't need an umbrella. Looks like he used to it. After all, he's from Europe. Hehe~ JK.
And this is the famous Tamparuli Hanging Bridge (Jambatan Gantung Tamparuli). Yes, the one in the song. I won't miss the chance to cross it, of course. Come on, guys!
This is the view from the bridge. It's pretty long and wobbly.
The girls refused to come with me and Faiq actually but I insisted that they come to. This is maybe the only chance for us to cross the famous bridge.
Behind me is the Tamparuli town and you can see below is a small bridge for the cars.
It's 6 pm already and it's time for us to head for Kota Kinabalu. We're staying there for the night. And I could really use some rest right now. It's been an adventurous day.
I think we had excessive baggage there. Lol.
Dinner at KFC with my buddies. It's my treat! :P
Me and Faiq can't help but notice that arcade centre at the same block with our hotel so... We spend some time enjoying a little bit of Street Fighters and all that. I lose miserably.
Okay, enough of gaming, let's get rested cause the next day, more adventure awaits. Woot!
